The models make their way through Hong Kong to attend go-sees, where one of the women loses her confidence and crumbles under the pressure. At the photo shoot for the “America’s Next Top Model” fragrance, Dream Come True, the stakes are raised as the models pose in front of the client, Hatch Beauty founder Ben Bennett. Kelly Cutrone and Nigel Barker join guest judge, photographer Jez Smith, as well as Tyra Banks on the judges’ panel for elimination.

‘America’s Next Top Model’ trailer: The models pose with worms

Seymone Cohen- Fobish was eliminated from America’s Next Top Model show but the surviving models don’t have their free time yet. She contest is getting hotter as they are now flying to Macau not for holiday but for photo shots in beautiful silk gowns and not very beautiful silk worms.

The surviving contestants will also get readings from an astrologer and they will also have to showcase their appearances in fashion and beauty. The judging panel will welcome Barney Cheng who will join the already existing panel of Tyra Banks, Kelly Cutrone and Nigel Barker.

So far, Seymone Cohen, Kyle Gober, Azmarie Livingston, Candace Smith, Ashley Brown, Jasmia Robinson, Mariah Watchman and Louise Watts have been eliminated from the contest. The show airs every Wednesday night on CW network.

America’s Next Top Model Cycle 18 Episode 9 “Barney Cheng”

The American team started to dwindled down after Seymone’s elimination. Laura admitted to Eboni that she don’t like her. Nigel surprised the girls with some Chinese foods and told them that they will go to Macau for the remaining of the competition. After arriving to Macau, Alisha got irritated with Sophie because she messed with her clothes.

Then the girls received their fortunes and auras by some Chinese astrologer Clement Chan and students after the session they were informed to recreate their aura by fashion. Laura won the challenge and shared her prize with her Co-American model Eboni which is a massage at MGM Six Sense Spa.

For the photo shoot, the girls will pose with silk gowns by Barney Cheng accessorized with Silkworms. Most of the girls struggled working with the worms. At the panel, Laura received the first call-out for her stunning photograph. Alisha and Catherine landed in the bottom two, Alisha for making the gown look cheaper and Catherine for being weak, Alisha was saved and Catherine was sent home.

The models go to castings for the opportunity to open a fashion show for one of the Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize finalists with fashion’s elite, including Marchesa’s Georgina Chapman in attendance. At a photo shoot, a few of the women struggle while modeling heavy Hello Kitty couture gowns. Kelly Cutrone and Nigel Barker join guest judge Georgina Chapman as well as Tyra Banks on the judges’ panel for elimination.

Nigel Barker discusses his Elimination from ‘America’s Next Top Model’

After Tyra Banks confirmed that Nigel Barker, J Alexander and Jay Manuel will not be on the next cycle of America’s Next Top Model show, Nigel made his remarks. He wished his replacement luck and appreciated the complexity of the role considering he had been on the role for 18 complete seasons. He emphasized that it is not clear if the idea would work, it is quite uncertain although the replacement had his blessings.

He further confessed that he saw his exit coming and had no hard feelings at all. It did not come to him as a shock although he is still friends with Tyra and show producers. He mentioned that following the low ratings, it was expected that some people would be dropped. He has survived elimination before in other cycles in previous years but had enjoyed a wonderful run on the show, hence no hard feelings from him. He understood that it was Tyra’s idea to eliminate him but the network. He had an exclusive contract with the network that prevented him from signing other works.

He has plans to start a show of his own that focuses on his love for photography. He hopes to produce and direct several other projects and already he has a couple of scripts that he is going through at the moment.

Jay Manuel, Nigel Barker and J Alexander Leave ‘America’s Next Top Model’ Show

Jay Manuel, Nigel Barker and J Alexander have been eliminated from the next cycle of America’s Next Top Model show. They will not be on the 19th cycle of the CW show that has a college theme. Casting for the cycle has been done and Tyra Banks already confirmed that the three are not on the list of cast. Tyra said that the show had made the cast and her a family and she was actually excited about what the future has for them all and that she loved the three who had been eliminated too.

Nigel also confirmed the news when he wrote on his blog that he would not be in for the 19th cycle of the show. However, he confirmed that the years he has spent on the show were fun filled. He admitted that he would miss the entire show crew and that the show will always have a special place in his heart. He is a photographer by passion but he had a judge role on the show from the 1st cycle.

Nigel talked about his next move. He said it is more thrilling and with higher prospects and he hoped that he would involve everyone in his next prospect. He somehow hinted that he might have a TV project in future when he mentioned that he has 18 cycles of reruns and dared people to watch his next show.

However, Ken Mok, show’s executive producer mentioned that these three had been a vital part of the show as they helped the show get to where it is currently. He added that the three would forever remain a part of the show family as they were among the greatest assets of the show. He said that the show would collaborate with them on future projects.

Jay Manuel had the role of creative director for the show’s photo shoots way since cycle 1 and he also hosted the Canada’s Next Top Model show. J Alexander on the other hand is a trainer of models with emphasis on runway skills and was also a judge on a couple of cycles of the show. The show runs on CW every Wednesdays night.

THE WOMEN SHOOT AN ANTI-BULLYING PSA – The models are tasked with creating a PSA with some young girls for an anti-bullying campaign, where the winners of the challenge will receive a personal video message from a loved one.

At a photo shoot, singer Estelle models with the women, who have to pose as art installations during a dinner party. Kelly Cutrone and Nigel Barker join guest judge Estelle as well as Tyra Banks on the judges’ panel for elimination.

New challenge to remaining contestants of ‘America’s Next Top Model’

America’s Next Top Model will witness some interesting happenings:

a) Nadine Coyle (Girls Aloud fame) and Jessica Sutta (Pussycat Dolls star) will act as advisors to remaining contestants. They will also be seen joining the existing judges’ panel.

b) Contestants are given an interesting task of preparing their music videos

c) Lisa D’Amato will be returning back to the screen to gaze the progress of contestants team work in preparing the music video

d) Contestants Jasmia Robinson, Candace Smith, Louis Watts, Maria Withcman and Ashley Brown has bid the viewers adieu; Ashley being the latest one to leave the show.

The show is moving towards an interesting turning point with all the interesting changes taking place in it.

The women are mentored by “America’s Next Top Model All-Star” winner Lisa D’ Amato as they are divided into teams to create and record music videos. One model in particular has a tough time catching on to the choreography.

At the video shoot, former Pussycat Doll Jessica Sutta and Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle are brought in to offer their expertise. Kelly Cutrone and Nigel Barker join guest judges Jessica Sutta and Nadine Coyle as well as Tyra Banks on the judges’ panel for elimination.
